ISOphonix Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are pre-fabricated, eco-sustainable, ready to install, wall, floor and roof components; suitable for many residential and commercial building applications.

ISOphonix SIP stack

Each SIP consists of molded polyurothane (PUR) core insulation with engineered, oriented strand board (OSB), laminated to the top and bottom faces.

Structural Insulation Panels (SIPs) are a key component ISOphonix’s ecologically friendly building construction methodology, that will reduce energy costs via heat insulation, reduce noise pollution via sound isolation, whilst providing a strong, secure building envelope.

Building with ISOphonix SIPs also provides competitive advantages over traditional stick frame construction by significantly reducing costs, construction time and improving efficiency.

Advantages

  1. Energy efficiency
  2. Air tight structures achieved with less than one air change per hour.
  3. U values down to 0.08 ( 245mm thick) to0.28 (100mm)
  4. Speed of installation - Fast track building.
  5. Environmentally friendly
  6. Minimum waste produced on site due to off site manufacture.
  7. All Timber used is from fast growing trees which are replenished.
  8. Fast Track Building.
  9. Reduced dependence upon ‘wet trades’
  10. Site time reduced - due to Panelised construction in various width modules.
  11. Follow on trades can begin as soon as the ‘envelope’ is constructed.
  12. Defects minimised due to precision engineering.
  13. enables ‘rooms within roofs’ to maximise space as well as greater overall foot print utilisation.

Manufacturing Process

The panels are made from Oriented Strand Board (OSB) and molded Polyurothane (PUR). The OSB wood has the British Board of Agrément (BBA) accreditation and is manufactured in a facility which is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accredited.

By using only the highest quality raw materials in combination with skilled technicians and high spec technical equipment we produce the very highest of quality Structural Insulated Panel.
